New, UNWRAPPED toys may be dropped off in the Narthex by Sunday, December 8. Gifts can be purchased for children newborn through 17 years old. If a gift requires batteries, please include them. The pantry is currently in special need of holiday canned goods such as corn and green beans, plus the familiar staples of peanut butter, grape jelly, and mac ‘n cheese. Director of Operations Suzi Burns is also asking for donations of frozen turkeys to help brighten the holidays of their many pantry clients. Our CHH liaison is Judy Foucheaux, who volunteers at CHH and reports monthly on the many generous donations made by New Life Lutheran Church and its members. Plan to visit CHH in their new building, located at 4305 Magnolia Parkway in Pearland, to see their expanded operations!

Please get your donations in ASAP, as the shoeboxes are scheduled to be packed up during the next monthly luncheon meeting of New Life Seniors on Wednesday, December 4. Ms. Dana Blume, Executive Director of the Houston International Seafarers Center, spoke to New Life Seniors about the Center’s interfaith mission and the Shoebox Program at their November luncheon.
We are truly BLESSED to be a BLESSING to others — not just at Christmas but throughout the year! THANK YOU ALL for your support of these important programs.
